Congratulations to A. L. Kim, from Korea, for winning the U.S. Women’s Open last weekend. She had a remarkable run of three straight birdies to end the final round and she earned the championship! Golf was traditionally a men’s sport for centuries. Originating in Scotland (UK), informal and undocumented games were played. It wasn’t until 1764 that the 18-hole game was official.
